Shaheen PU College started in the year 2002 and is run by the Allama Iqbal Education Society. The college is spread across an area of 1 acre and is rapidly building credibility and name for itself as one of the top PU colleges in Karnataka. The Shaheen group offers residential facilities from class V to II PUC. Since the year 2008, it has been offering a two year free sponsorship scheme for bright and talented students from economically weaker sections of Muslim community. This scheme includes all facilities such as uniform, food, stationery and accommodation to both boys and girls. Along with studying for PUC, the students are provided with intensive coaching for the state Common Entrance Test (CET), AIEEE and All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) .

Shaheen college is now serving more than 5,000 students every year in Kannada, Urdu & English mediums.
